The American version of the website did not have anything of this sort, so it must be the case that Indians miss Michael more.

OR- perhaps it is because in India you are 10 hours ahead of those of us in America... thus when you checked it wasn't Michael's birthday YET... hmm. :)
If you must know, Emily, it was after midnight in the US when we checked. We even checked later in the day and Michael was still nowhere to be found.
