We are new parents living in Chicago. Our life together has brought us to New York, Germany, India, and inner-city Chicago. Who knows what God has in store for the three of us tomorrow...
Here is Mussoorie, we live within a protected forest. Because of this, there are no real Christmas trees to be had. This evening, we were walking through the bazaar and we noticed some small artificial trees for sale. We also got a couple of big paper Christmas stars. When you throw in some leftover Diwali lights, it starts to look a lot like Christmas. The second star here is, quite possibly, the cheesiest Christmas decoration we've ever bought. It definitely has a series of pop-up Holy Families--all of whom are very white. This little taste of Christmas makes us miss our friends and family that much more. We are very ready to head home in just a couple weeks.
