Saving the World (1)

On Saturday, we had our final CARE activity of the year. We have been tasked with heading up this community involvement and environmental action group. This weekend, we decided to do energy and water audits at the dorms. The morning started out with some presentations and games about the amount of water that we use and the effects of greenhouse gases.

After going over all of the relevant information with the students, Beth took a bunch of them to see how much water is wasted in the dorms.

Dave took the other half of the students to audit the amount of energy that we waste.

The most dangerour environmental hazard was, of course, the noxious fumes coming out of most of the boys' rooms. Overall, we determined that there was a great deal of work that we can do to improve our stewardship of resources at Woodstock School. Hopefully, we will be able to implement some changes in the coming year to make things better.
