Staff v. Students

Yesterday, we had a chance to show our students who's boss. They challenged the middle school staff to a basketball game and we accepted without hesitation. Middle school students have a tendency to think much more highly of themselves than is warranted by their abilities. Rather than playing all of the middle schoolers at once, our motley crew played games against five different teams. Beth was obviously excited and ready for action.

Dave took full advantage of his height and grabbed a few rebounds. He was also able to stuff several students in their vain attempts to score some points.

Our team was also notable for its spirit. We did a great job of cheering each other on!

Dave and our friends, Jared and Scott, smothered the boys team with their amazing defense!

We finished the day with a perfect record. We played four games and had four wins. Our victorious team sat for a great photograph after our victories.

It may seem a bit unfair for grown men and women to beat up on 12 year olds, but our students were getting a little too big for their britches and needed to be reminded who was in charge at school.
